MobiTV provides a comprehensive cross-platform solution and services for many of the leading mobile carriers and cable providers. As part of this experience, Users can watch their favorite shows everywhere they go.
On the AT&T U-Verse LiveTV, and T-Mobile TV web portals, I animated and coded promotional Flash video players to inform site visitors and potential subscribers about the programs and offerings for each of the carriers. In addition I provided additional design edits and prepared each of the videos that would play.

Full House Poker is not the typical weekly together with a rusted card table, mis-matched folding chairs, and a deck of cards missing the Six of Clubs. It's an exciting global Texas Hold-Em competition with thousands of players, that is compelling for everyone from the World Poker Champion to the average Newbie.
I created visual effects that added to the complexity and richness of the gameplay. Whether a player wins or loses, there needed to be a visual 'pay-off' making FHP unlike any other Poker game on the market. Above is a selection of examples of the in-game effects that I created.

In addition to the impromtu competitions in Full House Poker, there are on-going scheduled theme-nights that attract users to continually check-in and see what new fun events are happening each week.
So players know about the upcoming events, I posed the avatar and create the background to promote the corresponding theme nights.

In Full House Poker, the more you play, the more you earn. And not just chips. As players play, they unlock additional in-game assets to personalize their character and playing areas.
I created additional Table & Chair textures for players to earn and unlock to add a layer of custom functionality to a player's experience.

Games on Xbox Live Arcade are all about being yourself. And the best way to be yourself is to show off. When the chips are down, but you have a winning hand, you want to say, "bring it on."
Starting with conceptualization, I worked on ways to bring personality and fun to Xbox Avatars. From taunts, known in Full House Poker as 'chip tricks', to winning sequences, I pushed the boundaries of what the character rigs were capable of. I created over 200 polished in-game character animations and cinematic camera movements for this poker game.

My design background comes from a deep interest in the art of storytelling. Whether it's creating a well researched User Experience, or an entertaining narrative, I enjoy creating an engaging tale.
The above is a selection of screen shots from my Animation and Motion Graphics work. A mix of personal and commercial work, my DemoReel (left) is a montage of the detail and heart I put into my work.

Great stories need to have compelling and relatable characters. In my research process, I sketch variations on characters till I have a strong character that has the ability to express a range of believable emotions.
These are a sampling of my character stuides, some becoming the main characters of my animation work. I often begin my process with hand methods before translating them to the computer, with Maya, Flash, or After Effects.

The bridge from thought to project completion often begins on a sheet of paper, a back of a napkin, or a blank digital 'canvas.' This is where sequences are planned and finessed before production begins. Making wrong turns so you can make right ones, storyboarding, or wireframing, is an essential step of the design process.
Above are a few examples of my stoyboards I created for personal projects and commercial projects. To create the right flow and feel for a story, I make use of both hand and digital methods to get my ideas out.
